Salaam!
I am enjoying the luxury of having a purring cat on my lap. I'm hanging out at my sister's apartment with her cat, Ginger, whom you may remember as the background on my monitor back home in Tempe, whilst my sister is off at choir practice and her roommates Liz and Linda are out- I don't know where Liz is, but Linda is off celebrating International Women's Day, which is apparently a big deal in Norway. Gotta love the Norwegians. Oh, and it's raining outside. It's pretty bizarre.
Anyway, just in case anyone is checking my blog I wanted to say that I made it to Cairo safe and sound, and am gradually- very gradually- getting over the combination of jet lag and sleep deprivation.
Ya'll will have to hear about my adventures and misadventures in person, I think, but here's a picture of me... bet you can't guess where! ;-)

rar. I am so jealous! Mike and the other mechanical engineers built a giant snow sphinx with the head of one of their professors on it...I don't think it is quite the same....hrm. well, I can't wait to hear about your grand adventures! Love ya! :)
*pokes Eleanor-chan* Someday...someday...I'll actually go somewhere interesting. Besides playing in that cabin in your backyard that your dad built when we were kids, which was the most adventure I'd had before college...shows you what a pathetic life I lead... -_-

...well, hi anyway, I hope to meet y'all someday! I could tell you some nice stories about Eleanor from when she was in fifth grade and up...*pokes Eleanor* Remember the vampire thing? *grins*
