Jump!

So, tonight I developed my mad skillz in being unproductive. I was totally going to go to the studio, but time flies when you're sitting around chatting with the roommates and... well, jumping....

and attacking Sarah with the camera:

Oh, and trying to master the "hold the camera at arm's length and get a good shot of yourself" skill:

Last, but certainly not least, from Saturday night, Nick looking stoned, Adrienne nursing her belly, and me being silly :-D:

Hope you enjoyed as much as I did! Until next time, as Eleanor so eloquently put it, "I'm being beaten over the head with a small rodent!"

Rotten Orange Crush

It's lunchtime, and I'm eating humiliation for lunch with a side of cold rejection. Yick. Ok, so it's not that bad, but darn it! There should be a law of the universe against people I like being able to resist my devilish good charm.

Yeah... so I asked Matt Kruger out today. Unfortunately for me, though, he's not interested for a variety of half-assed lame reasons. humbug. As Jim would say, I "need me some lovin'." *whinewhinewhinebitchmoanwhinebitch* Ok, I'm done now.

In good news, though, yesterday was SUPER FUN!!! I slept really late, and then I went to Fencing Club with Nick! It was really cool- he took a lesson in foil, and I took a lesson in sabre. (and we rocked it, naturally ;-) ) of course, my right thigh completely hates me now from the funny stance and lungeing, but it's nothing a little bit of ignoring and two ibuprofen can't help. ARGH!!!!!! enter's not working again! raaarr. Anyway, last night we went through massive quantities of booze- like, a bottle of Peach Schnapps, lots of Coors, a substantial amount of vodka, a bottle of champagne, some tequila, and a six-pack of fat tire. We played drinking games and egyptian rat screw, and both would occasionally degenerate into tickle wars. It was awesome. Some of the best stuff, though, was before the alcohol comsumption began- we did a picture scavenger hunt with Sarah's friend Marcy in Hawaii. Check it out: http://www.ofoto.com/PhotoView.jsp?collid=973578358105&photoid=873578358105&Uc=reik5wt.cf97f0wp&Uy=-dp10ou&Upost_signin=BrowsePhotos.jsp%3fshowSlide%3dtrue&Ux=0&refreshkey=1101066287394 It was awesome. Alright, I'd better go, like, be productive, or something. oh shit. I just realized that my bellydancing class started, like, five minutes ago. Well, I guess I'm not going! bah, humbug. well, as Victor Weisskopf once said, "When life is very bad, two things make life worth living- Mozart and quantum mechanics" So here's to string theory.

Orange Crush

So... I've decided that it's finally time for me to stop wallowing in self-pity/hoping that something will happen, and just ask one of the people who I like out. If you would like to be this person, and are concerned that the asked party might not be you, please let me know, cuz it'd be sad if I asked someone out and it turned out that someone else liked me. Not that I think that scenario is likely, but... you never know, I tell myself. Anyway, I'm finally going to ask this guy out who I've liked for a really, really long time. Oi. I'm optimistic, though- not because I think it will go particularly well, but because I think things might go better if I'm cheerful about it. Oh dear, now I'm making myself nervous ^^; Grr, lousy enter key not functioning! alright. I should go get ready for Applebee's goodness with Camp Sparky. yay!

Return to Blogland

Sounds like a thrilling movie, doesn't it? I should write a spectacular script and then win thirteen academy awards for it. woohoo!

So, Nick, you'll be pleased to see that I'm blogging again... something tells me you're the only one who ever checks, though. A pity, really- so few get to encounter my glorious articulation of the modern condition. ;-)

So, let's see.
