So, I had lunch at the Phoenicea Cafe today. It was really crowded outside because a large group had reserved the entire inside. I decided to order some arabic coffee, but I noticed that there was this guy and his dog waiting for a table. So, when I spoke to the waiter to order my coffee, I suggested that the guy could sit with me. He did, and we chatted a bit. Nice dog. He eventually moved to a now-open table.
Point of the story: The part of me that is an impartial observer of all my doings shook its head in wonder that I just invited this guy to come sit with me. Not because it's a particularly unusual thing to do, but because I can be so different on different days. Some days, it would never have occurred to me to do such a thing. It seriously would never have entered my mind. Other days, like today, it seems the most natural thing in the world.
Alright, I'd better go face up to the reality that is my physics homework. There's a lecture on Darwin, Design, and Democracy that Lynchipoo is giving tomorrow, I think I'm going to catch it with Lindsey, which will be nice.
P.S. I hate glazing. Who the F names a glaze "Awesome Shino" and then doesn't do any test tiles? Tim, that's who! Tim, my shino-ware had better look damn "awesome," kappish? Not that Tim reads my blog. Oh well.
