Belly Dance!
Alright, first here's a checkup on how I'm doing on keeping my resolutions 24 hrs after making them:
Point 1: Be ambitious/proactiv.
I dragged my ass out of bed around 1 o'clock this afternoon- two and a half hours after my alarm went off.
Point 2: Eat right.
I just ate 1/4 of a package of Chocolate Orange Pocky. I lose. ^^;
Point 3: Avoid love-type stuff.
Was foolishly heartbroken after reading Londyn/Ian references on Amy's blog. I don't want to like him, but my subconscious, being the trouble-maker that it is, hardwired my brain to do so while I was asleep. My subconscious keeps pulling this shit.
Point 4: Lose weight/Exercise.
I sat all day. It was glorious.
Point 5: Devote self to CS.
Checked "Unofficial CS" group on facebook.com. It's a start... sort of.
Point 6: Learn how to cook Butternut squash.
Have heard rumors that butternut squash is cooked like acorn squash, which I know how to cook. Have not yet actually cooked a butternut squash.
Well, it looks like I fail for today. Tomorrow is another day, though, right?
Oh, and I did come up with a couple of songs that I really want to do bellydance routines for:
Hernando's Hideaway (this would just be for shows at the co-op- I might be murdered in my sleep if I pulled this at Byblos)
Track 17 from the Amelie soundtrack. It's piano, but I think it would lend itself well to a veil routine. Possibly could be performed at Byblos, pending Morgiana permission.
Aight, I have nothing more to say, except that my head is full of a multitude of facts, now that I've spent all day reading science magazines.
