Le hike

So, Becca asked for a summary, so I'll give you what I gave her:

mmm, still like Eric, went out to movie with him and his friends last weekend, today went on a hike in the mountains with him and one of his friends from high school and her boyfriend (who were both in town from San Francisco), it was a short hike, 2mi. up and 2mi. down, but I'm in terrible shape and they had to be very patient with me on the way up, climbed a pinnacle with Eric alone, and it might have been more romantic (you know what I mean) had his friends not been doing their best to take pictures of us up on the rock, great hike down, planning with Eric to hike Camelback Mountain and camp at the Grand Canyon, both in that hypothetical future, all going well, I fell, twisted my ankle (it was fine for the rest of the hike after a brief break but I have it wrapped up now), we made it down ok, Eric is thoroughly adorable and has hands-down the most amazing personality (and body ;-) ) I've ever encountered... I'm smitten still... upon parting a faintly awkward unspoken "I'm Eric and I'm going to put my arm on the back of your seat in such a way that it implies that I may hug you but I'm not actually going to either because my friends are here and that might be weird or because I'm a doofus" followed by a "So I'll see you sometime later this week, then?" aloud; I was a little giddy from heat + dehydration + Eric, so I replied, in an attempt to be coy, "We'll find something to do" before swinging myself out of the car, realizing only later that it had been a wasted chance at plan-making... but I had been feeling weird cuz we were parked outside my apartment and I didn't want to keep them all waiting...

In other news, today I was elected to Chair of Camp Sparky for the next year. (I would say re-elected, but I was never really technically elected to chair in the first place...) I have much to do ahead! Speaking of which, I have a paper due tomorrow that I really am in no mood to work on, surprise, surprise :-P
